Godzilla Makes His Long-Awaited Arrival In Thev U.K. & Immediately Destroys London’s Iconic Big Ben

Clever criminal Jaion Kulkarni made the discovery of a lifetime when he realized thatGodzilla was summonedwith a specific type of anomaly. He put that knowledge to use and developed a neutrino cannon to create the exact energy signatures that would draw the Kaiju toward whatever destination he chose. Between the cannon and drones, he’s already achieved the impossible by pulling Godzilla’s strings. Though it yielded him a good payout in Manila, breaking into the Ministry of Defense is on another level, but bythe end ofHeist’sfirst issue, the King of Monsters was on his way.
It Took 50+ Years, But Finally - Godzilla’s Next Big Project Is Taking Him to Space
Godzilla’s about to enter an all-new era in the franchise’s 50+ years of continuity, one that will bring Godzilla where he’s never gone before: space!
Though there’s still a bit of mystery surrounding exactly what Jai was recruited to help steal, it appears to be a massive mecha-Kaiju created by his mother and confiscated by the British government. It’s only appropriate, in that case, for the real Godzilla to be in on the raid. Considering the group has to make it through multiple barriers, including the brunt of the UK’s armed forces, a protected bunker, and more, they’ll need the biggest distraction they can get;Godzilla knocking over Big Ben, with the London Eye Ferris Wheel also in his sights, should do the trick.

London Will Never Be the Same After Godzilla Visits
HeistContinues Its Globetrotting Kaiju Caper
Godzilla does not tread gentlyanywhere he goes, but the core of Jai’s plan involves whipping him into a frenzy and (ideally) pointing his rage where they need it to go via the drones. Considering they need a massive distraction, that will likely mean pushing him to create a wide path of destruction. As inspired as Jai’s plan and design is, his survival in Manila came down to luck, not skill, so it’s easy to imagine the London job going off the rails. The United Kingdom is not ready forGodzilla, but the Kaiju is set to pay London an explosive visit.
Godzilla: Heist #2will be available July 30, 2025 from IDW Comics.
