Symbiotes are incredible aliens. They’re capable of increasing a user’s endurance, strength, and granting them incredible abilities. It’s no surprise that some group would try to weaponize them over and over again. The scientists in this preview even mention an auction, likely being where they’re going to try and sell off this new brainless version of symbiotes. The problem with symbiotes has always been their ability to resist or even directly take over their host,but creating a symbiote that has no mind of its own would completely solve this problem.

Symbiotes are pretty dangerous and they’re capable of evolving past their weaknesses, which is why a new weakness being created is major news.
Groups have been trying to weaponize symbiotes for decades in the Marvel Universe. This goes as far back as Vietnam, as seen in the storyWeb of Venom: Ve’Nam, which revealed that the US Government attempted to usesymbiote soldiers to help win the war in Vietnam. Unfortunately, this didn’t work as the symbiotes simply went insane and took full control over their hosts. Yet this new K-project could be what finally solves this. If these new symbiotes are little more than mindless suits, then they’d make the perfect enhancement to whatever organization uses them.
