Which MCU Heroes Could Realistically Cameo In Deadpool & Wolverine?
A huge number of Marvel characters have been rumored to be making cameo appearances inDeadpool & Wolverine, informed by the fact that the Phase 5 movie will be bridging the gap between the MCU and Fox’sX-Menfranchise. While any number of X-Men heroes could debut, the prospect ofMCU characters appearing inDeadpool & Wolverineis also exciting, as this will firmly cement Deadpool as a permanent part of the MCU. So far, onlyChris Hemsworth’s Thor has been confirmed to be making a cameo appearance through archive footage, but others could follow suit.
As the suspected new leader of the Avengers,Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson, a.k.a. Captain America, could greet Deadpool upon his entrance into the MCU’s main continuity. This was previously teased in a poster released byTotal Film(viaXMenUpdate), which sees Deadpool and Wolverine seemingly walking into the MCU.Deadpool & Wolverine’sfirst official traileralso showed Wade Wilson and Logan jumping through a portal, reminiscent of those created by the Masters of the Mystic Arts, so this could lead to an appearance by Doctor Strange, Wong, or other sorcerers already in the MCU.
