Marcus is a 31-year-old Army Ranger veteranfrom Raleigh, North Carolina. When Marcus first met Jenn, he told her that he had three big dreams: to serve his country, to go to outer space, and to find his person. He said that he was lucky enough that some of those dreams came true. During hisBacheloretteseason 21 premiere package,Marcus shared that he was an Army Ranger, and he enlisted and left for training two weeks after he graduated from high school. Marcus did six deployments, but on his last mission, he was seriously injured in a grenade explosion.
Marcus woke up in a hospital in Washington, D.C., and he said that it was day one of the next two months of his life. He also shared that it’s been about five years since he’s dated, and he thinks that he’s ready to open himself back up to being in a relationship and the possibility of love. During their one-on-one conversation, Marcus told Jenn that he felt calm in her presence. They also talked about their love of rock climbing. In her confessional, Jenn said that she felt chemistry with Marcus, and that she felt comfortable with him.

According toReality Steve,Marcus and Jenn didn’t get engaged, but he was her runner-up. During week 2, Jenn and the men traveled to Australia, during whichJenn chose Marcus for her first one-on-one date. They went skydiving. During week 3, Marcus went on a group date in which he participated in a male stripper revue. The dancers from Thunder Down Under coached the men before the show. In week 4, Marcus participated in a rugby-themed group date, and then another group date in week 5. Reality Steve wasn’t sure what the men did on that date.
During week 6, Jenn and the remaining men traveled to Seattle, Washington, whereJenn chose Marcus for his second one-on-one date. The date wasWicked-themed, and they had to follow a Yellow Brick Road to choose their adventure. Jenn’sBachelorseason 28 co-stars Kelsey Anderson and Daisy Kent made appearances on the date, along withThe Bacheloretteseason 20 lead Charity Lawson and season 1 star Trista Sutter. Marcus' hometown date was filmed on July 18, 2025, in Tacoma, Washington. Reality Steve shared that Marcus lived in the Seattle area after his time in the Army. Many of his Army friends still live there. Reality Steve claims that Marcus doesn’t have a great relationship with his parents, and they don’t live in Washington. His guess is that’s why the hometown date was filmed there.Marcus then made it to Jenn’s overnight Fantasy Suite dates in Hawaii. She then chose him as one of her final two men,along with Devin Strader. However,Jenn got engaged to Devin, while Marcus placed second.
