Farming the Ascension and Talent materials for Chasca inGenshin Impactis the first step in fully unlocking her potential as a main Anemo DPS in team comps and a necessary step in turning her viable.Chasca is a new playable character introduced with Version 5.2 alongside Ororon, both of which have important roles in the Natlan story arc. Because of the leaks for Version 5.2, players couldpre-farm Chasca’s materials inGenshin Impact, though they were still subject to change during the beta tests for the patch. The current materials are still based on leaks but are more reliable.
Chasca is a 5-star bow user who can allegedly take flight with her Nightsoul Transmission mechanic and, with it, use empowered Normal and Charged Attacks at enemies. In a sense, she is much like Wanderer, as both their goals are to deal as much damage as possible via their regular attacks while in a flying state.Chasca can also serve as an exploration asset thanks to her flight, which can help you reach new heights and quickly move around the map. Before taking advantage of her perks, however, you should farm Chasca’s materials and fully Ascend her inGenshin Impact.

Ascension Materials To Farm For Chasca In Genshin Impact
Some Items Could Not Be Pre-Farmed Before The Character’s Release
To start your farming efforts towards Chasca’s Ascension materials, you will need to obtain Vayuda Turquoise stones, as she is an Anemo character. These and other materials for her have been listed byHoney Hunter World.Vayuda Turquoise stones mainly drop from Anemo-aligned bosses, such as Stormterror, Solitary Suanni, Setekh Wenut, Anemo Hypostasis, and theTenebrous Papilla: Type I boss inGenshin Impact. Beating the Tenebrous Papila boss in Version 5.2 and onward is the best option among all of the listed bosses for Vayuda Turquoise stones because it drops another important Ascension material for Chasca.
Genshin Impact 5.2’s New Leaked Feature Is A Blessing For Veterans
A new system optimization is coming with Genshin Impact 5.2, according to leaks, and it may significantly improve the experience for veteran players.
The table below lists all the materials needed in Chasca’s Ascension, divided per level threshold and condensed at the end:

-
The next material listed by Honey Hunter World is precisely the main boss drop from Tenebrous Papila.By defeating the boss, you can obtain the item called Ensnaring Gaze. Not too many copies of this item are needed, but you will need to beat Tenebrous Papila quite a few times to farm everything required. Because the boss was not available in the game prior to Version 5.2, Ensnaring Gaze could not be pre-farmed. As such, players looking to farm this material need to wait for the new boss’ release in the same patch as Chasca’s release inGenshin Impact.

Chasca’s list of Ascension materials also includes an item called Withering Purpurbloom. This is a Local Specialty added with Version 5.2 and the new Natlan map areas therein. OnHoney Hunter World, it is said that Withering Purpurbloom spawns in an area called Ochkanatlan. As a Local Specialty, Withering Purpurbloom respawns every 48 hours in real life after being obtained from the map.
Like Ensnaring Gaze, Withering Purpurbloom could not be farmed before the arrival of Version 5.2, as this is part of the patch’s contents inGenshin Impact.

The final set of materials needed in Chasca’s Ascension process is composed of Juvenile Fang, Seasoned Fang, and Tyrant’s Fang. These three materials, which are part of the same item family, drop from Saurian enemies all across Natlan. These are easy to obtain considering the number of Saurian enemies, which can be consulted in the official interactive map onHoYoLAB.
These Saurian Fang materials are also required for Chasca’s Talents, so be sure to farm a surplus and tackle everySaurian type inGenshin Impact.

Lastly, you will also need Mora to fuel the Ascension processes. To get through all of the level thresholds, you will need 420,000 Mora and, if you are leveling Chasca up with Character EXP Materials, you will need an extra 1,637,400 Mora to get her to level 90. Mora can always be farmed at Blossom of Wealth activities. If you farm Mora, which is also consumed at a high rate with Chasca’s Talents, be sure to challenge Blossoms of Wealth in Natlan. You may be put up against Saurian enemies, which will help farm the Fang materials inGenshin Impact.
Talent Materials To Farm For Chasca In Genshin Impact
All These Items Can Be Pre-Farmed
While her Ascension should take precedence, leveling Chasca’s Talents is equally important to unlock her potential. As was previously mentioned, Juvenile Fang, Seasoned Fang, and Tyrant’s Fang are listed among the several materials used in Chasca’s Talents, butyou will need a much larger quantity here than in her Ascension. As always, beat Saurian enemies across Natlan to farm these materials.
The table below lists all the materials needed to max out all three of Chasca’s Talents inGenshin Impact:
Mora
The Talent books used by Chasca, as shown on Honey Hunter World, are those of Conflict.Teachings of Conflict, Guide to Conflict, and Philosophies of Conflict can be farmed from the Blazing Ruins Domain in Natlan, but only on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. For reference, these are the same materials forKachina inGenshin Impact. A very large number of Conflict books will be consumed to max out Chasca’s Talents, so you will likely spend days farming the Blazing Ruins Domain.
Genshin Impact 5.2 Leaks: New Imaginarium Theater Rewards Are Beyond Lackluster
New leaks about the rewards coming to the Imaginarium Theater in Genshin Impact 5.2 have emerged and they seem to be very disappointing.
As seen on Honey Hunter World, the weekly boss material consumed by Chasca is Silken Feather. This item can be obtained bybeating the Knave boss inGenshin Impact. The drop of Silken Feather is not guaranteed, as Knave can also provide players with two other Talent materials.Along with a Dream Solvent, you can transform those other materials into Silken Feather at an Alchemy Table. Chasca will also need three Crowns of Insight, one for each Talent. These rare materials can be obtained from limited-time events, Reputation systems, and Paimon’s Bargains.
Lastly, upgrading Chasca’s Talents will require a lot of Mora.To fully level her abilities, you will consume nearly 5 million Mora. As usual, you can farm Mora at Blossom of Wealth activities across Teyvat, though it is recommended to farm the currency in Natlan so as to farm other Natlan materials in the process.
I’m Excited My Favorite Genshin Impact Character May Finally Get A Skin I’ll Use
There are rumors of a new skin for one of my favorite Genshin Impact characters and I couldn’t be more excited about possibly changing their outfit.
Overall, farming materials for Chasca is pretty straightforward. With the exception of two items that could not be pre-farmed prior to her release, the rest has been available in the game for quite a while now and it is likely you already have a stock of them. The earlier you start farming her materials, the quicker you may start working on Chasca’s build inGenshin Impactand then use her as your new main DPS.
