Summary

The list of Yunli’s materials inHonkai: Star Rail2.4 has allegedly leaked, offering players a glimpse into what they may need to farm and what they could, possibly, pre-farm for her complete Ascension and Trace-leveling once she is released. Yunli has already been confirmed by developer HoYoverse as one of the upcoming playable characters in Version 2.4. Yunli is a 5-star Physical character who follows the Path of the Destruction who allegedly specializes in dealing damage via counterattacks that are considered follow-up attacks. Based onHonkai: Star Rail2.4 character banner leaks, she will debut in Phase 1.

The details about Yunli’s kit are yet to be shared by HoYoverse, but leaks indicate that she may be a viable candidate to substitute Dr. Ratio in several follow-up attack team comps, as well as helming several of her own parties. Yunli is also expected to be an important NPC in the upcoming story quests that may be added with Version 2.4, as indicated by leaks. Now, more recent leaks highlight the materials that players will need to Ascend Yunli and boost her Traces to the maximum level inHonkai: Star Rail, even before official confirmation from the developer.

All Yunli Materials In Honkai: Star Rail Have Leaked

The Items Are All Available In The Game & Can Be Pre-Farmed

As seen in information obtained by the leaker known as Dim, which was then shared in a post tagged as “Reliable” onReddit, the Version 2.4 characters materials underwent some change, andnow the new set of materials is available for pre-farming. As pointed out in the leak, these materials are what appeared in the beta tests and, as such, are still highly subject to change. This means that pre-farming some portions of these materials could lead players to waste their time, as another set of materials may be swapped in before Yunli’s release.

The list below details Yunli’s leaked materials inHonkai: Star Railand the exact amount players need to have in hand to fully Ascend and upgrade her abilities:

How & Where To Pre-Farm Yunli’s Materials For Honkai: Star Rail 2.4

Obtaining Materials Preemptively Can Spare Players' Time

Players who are interested in pre-farming Yunli’s materials can do so, but they should be aware of the risks. There is a chance that the listed materials will be changed once again, which would make the farming efforts (or at least a portion of it) useless, forcing players to farm a whole other set of items. If players are okay with the risk, they can start off by gathering the Ascension material IPC Work Permit, which is also used in Boothill andRobin’s Ascension inHonkai: Star Rail. This material pertains specifically to Physical characters in the turn-based RPG.

The IPC Work Permit can be farmed exclusively at the Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Duty activity located in the Clock Studios Theme Park map on Penacony. Only 65 copies are needed, but you will need to run this activity multiple times to garm everything. The next set of materials to pre-farm for Yunli’s Ascension is Artifex’s Module and its evolved forms, Artifex’s Cogwheel and Artifex’s Gyreheart, respectively. These materials drop from various sources but are mainly obtained from Entranced Ingenium and Aurumaton Gatekeeper opponents on the Xianzhou Luofu. Players can also get these items from Assignments inHonkai: Star Rail.

How To Beat Phantylia In Honkai Star Rail

The best way of farming Artifex’s Module is by running activities like Stagnant Shadows and Calyces that have Entranced Ingenium opponents. While the Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Duty will not help players in this aspect, they can farm Credits or Traveler’s Guide at Calyx (Golden) activities on the Xianzhou Luofu to farm Artifex’s Module. These items are part of the reward pool. Players can also obtain more of them monthly from the Embers Exchange store. These items need to be farmed abundantly, as they are also used in Yunli’s Trace-leveling process, according to the latestHonkai: Star Railleak.

These are rumored to be the only two Ascension materials Yunli consumes. Following that, players looking to pre-farm for Yunli may want to gather Borisin Teeth, Lupitoxin Sawteeth, and Moon Madness Fang. These are Destruction-exclusive items and they can be farmed at the Calyx (Crimson) Bud of Destruction activity located on the Scalegorge Waterscape map on the Xianzhou Luofu. A very large amount of these are seemingly needed if the leaks are right (they likely are, based on how many copies that previous 5-star characters need). For reference, these Fangs are some of theFirefly materials inHonkai: Star Rail.

The next material that is rumored to be used in Yunli’s Traces is Regret of Infinite Ochema. This is a boss material that is dropped exclusively from Phantylia in the Scalegorge Waterscape map on the Xianzhou Luofu. Only 12 copies are needed but, given the limitations of weekly boss challenges, it may take players a few weeks to gather everything – which is why pre-farming Yunli’s materials is a good idea, despite the risk of it changing ahead of her release inHonkai: Star Rail2.4.

These boss materials are generally only used at higher Trace levels and more advanced skills.

Additionally, the leak also states that Yunli’s materials include Tracks of Destiny, a rare Trace material. This seems on par with the regular needs of characters in the game, so this is unlikely to change in any capacity.Tracks of Destiny are best farmed from the Simulated Universe, though players are able to obtain them from limited-time events as well as Starlight Exchange, Ember Exchange, and thebattle pass inHonkai: Star Rail. Credits and Character EXP Materials are farmed as usual from Calyx (Golden) activities in any of the major destinations.

How To Beat Phantylia In Honkai: Star Rail

Phantylia, the Undying, may be one of the hardest opponents in Honkai: Star Rail so far. Here are tips on how to beat her, including team comps.

Having already undergone one reported change in the required materials, the chances of Yunli’s materials changing again are small but still present. Nevertheless, pre-farming Yunli materials ahead of her release is a great idea for players who want to max her out once she arrives and then spend their efforts farming the ideal Relics and Ornaments to optimize her rumored follow-up attack build inHonkai: Star Rail.
