Time spent on Reddit can be fun, informative, and rewarding. But what if you could also earn some cash for your contributions to the platform?

What Is Reddit’s Contributor Program?

Reddit officially joined the list ofsocial media platforms that pay creatorsfollowing the launch of its Reddit Contributor Program. The contributor program offers Redditors a way to earn money for their posts, comments, or other contributions that receive karma and gold from other users.

The program allows users to exchange their Reddit gold and karma for real money they can withdraw to their bank accounts. The amount of money you earn depends on your karma level and the amount of gold you receive within a 30-day period.

How to Earn Cash Via Reddit’s Contributor Program

To join the Reddit Contributor Program, you need to meet some eligibility criteria. First, you need to be over 18 years old and live in the United States (for now, at least). You also need to have an account that is at least 30 days old and you need to have verified your identity via Persona. You also need a verified Stripe account.

Once you meet these requirements, you may apply to become a Reddit contributor on theReddit Contributor Programpage.

The earning process is simple: every time you receive gold for your post or comment, you earn some money based on your karma level. Users with 100 to 4,999 karma earn $.90 per gold, while those with 5,000 or more karma earn $1 per gold.

To withdraw money, you need to accumulate at least 10 gold within 30 days. If it’s less, your balance will roll over to the next month.
