How to Browse Immersive Content on Meta Quest TV
Virtual reality is great for gaming, but it’s also a great way to watch shows and movies. Meta Quest TV is a free app that comes pre-installed on your Quest headset, and it’s fantastic for watching 2D and 3D content in a more immersive way.
If you’ve never purposely used the Meta Quest TV app, here’s how you can use it to watch videos, live events, and even your favorite streaming services.
How to Launch Meta Quest TV
To explore even more on Quest TV, open yourApps Library- the dot-grid icon on the toolbar at the bottom of your view - and selectMeta Quest TV. The app has four main components, which appear on a toolbar at the bottom of the Meta Quest TV window:Browse,Channels,Your Media, andSaved.
Wherever you find your immersive media, turn on hand-tracking and put your controllers down. Every time you move a controller, even a little, Quest thinks you’re trying to do something and brings up a menu over your video.

How to Access Live Content and Events on Meta Quest TV
TheBrowsesection is a selection of recent and popular videos, currently live videos, events, and content you may enjoy. Even if this is your first time tuning into the app, at least some of these selections should be interesting to you because it takes your gameplay to date into account – not just videos you watch within this app.
To refine content further, select theFiltericon in the upper right corner and narrow results toVR Video,Video, orVR Animation.

How to Watch Streaming Services on the Meta Quest TV App
TheChannelssection offers a selection of streaming services available as add-ons within Meta Quest TV. Some of them contain at least some free content, but others require a subscription. The channels available through the app at the time of writing include:
These are just the streaming services with channels within the Meta Quest TV app, but they aren’t all thestreaming services available on Meta Quest. Further, not all of the content available is completely immersive.

Some content seems immersive, but there’s nothing behind you. It isn’t a complete 360-degree video; it’s more like 180 degrees. Even when you try to view 2D content in VR, it shows up on a curved screen that you can expand by pulling the corners. How big can it get? Bigger than you need it to be.
How to See Your Own Videos and Content on Meta Quest TV
There’s also a section calledYour Media, which is a place to view the content you have created and stored on your headset. If you want to view your created content here, you’ll have to enable some permissions first.
Fortunately, this is just a two-click operation. SelectOpen Permissionswhen prompted and then toggle the storage setting toOn.

How to Save Videos to a Watchlist (and How to Access Them)
TheSavedsection is where you can find videos that you tuck away for later. That can be videos you want to save for another time or watch again in the future. If you’re a “VR evangelist,” this might be a place where you save impactful content to show friends and family.
If you want to save content to this folder while you’re browsing, click on the stacked dots icon in the upper right corner of a video’s thumbnail and selectSave.
There’s More to See on Other Apps
Meta Quest TV isn’t the only place to find immersive videos. In addition to apps like streaming services, there’s a lot of good immersivecontent on the Quest Browser. Just remember that Meta Quest TV brings together content created by Meta and select partners, so content that you find elsewhere can’t be managed from the Meta Quest TV app.
Enjoy Virtual Reality in Good Health
From animated shorts to moving documentaries, live concerts and sports, and who knows what else, there’s a lot of content on Meta Quest TV. So take a look around if you haven’t yet, and find the next show to binge-watch in a more immersive way.
