It’s simple and easy to get the chance to buy the console. All you need is to visitthe PlayStation website, sign in with your PlayStation Network ID, and click theRegisterbutton. You’ll see a “Thank you for registering” note in place of the Register button, and that’s it.
Now, all you need to do is wait to get selected. If you’re one of the lucky few who receive an invitation to buy the PS5, you’ll receive Sony’s instructions in the inbox of your PSN ID-linked email address.
You’re Still Not Guaranteed a PS5 Console
Even if you receive an invitation to buy the console in your email, it’s not a guarantee you’ll be able to purchase one. There’s only a limited window when you’re able to buy the PlayStation 5, and if you receive a “Sold Out” message, that means there are no more consoles left to buy.
As of this writing in June 2022, registration is only available for gamers in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
