Stability’s Blender add-on gives you the power of image-to-image translation. This model modifies an existing image to the descriptions you set in the text prompt. This means that you’ll need a scene to begin with, as Stability works its magic on the render, not the scene itself.

This is equivalent to rendering your scene, saving the rendered image, and then uploading it to Stability. Installing the Blender add-on simply lets you skip having to export and upload the render each time.

How to Install Stability for Blender

Installing Stability for Blender is pretty straightforward like any other add-on. First, you’ll need to download the add-on from theStablity add-on release page. The add-on will be packed in a zip file, don’t unpack the file.

Open Blender, head to theEditmenu, and selectPreferences. In the Blender Preferences window, click onAdd-ons. Now in the top-right corner, clickInstall.

Locate the zip file that you downloaded and clickInstall Add-on. Simple as that, you just installed Stability for Blender. But we’re not done yet.

Now all that’s left is to enter your API key. Go to yourDreamStudio account pageand copy your API key. If you don’t have an account, you’ll have to create one.

In Blender, open the Stability add-on by clicking on it in the sidebar. Paste your API key and clickGet Started. Congratulations! You have successfully activated Stability for Blender.
