Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Archas entered its second season onNetflix, and it’s as underrated as ever. Hardly anyone outside of Japan watchesKinnikuman, and that makes it all the more ironic when it does something great. Season two ofPerfect Origin Archas been firing on all cylinders in terms of both action and character writing, and it’s been so good thatKinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arcseason 2, episode #10 stands out as not only the best episode of the season, but the best anime episode of winter 2025, as a whole. It was great to see for anyone who’s stuck with the series, and there are plenty of reasons as to why.

Kinnikuman’s Best Episode Shows Why The Anime’s Story Is So Iconic
Why Kinnikuman’s Writing Is So Good
The main reason why the latest episode ofKinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arcwas so good was because of its writing. Season 2, episode #10 was focused largely on Warsman’s backstory, and it showed just how much suffering he’s gone through between watching his father kill himself, watching his mother die from illness, and then learning that the government was trying to use him as a weapon for war.Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc’s latest episode does an incredible job of selling Warsman as a tragic figure, and getting the point across so quickly and efficiently was nothing but great to see.
What made Warsman’s backstory truly great, however, was how it worked into his current arc. As Warsman lost control of himself after Robin Mask’s death, he flashed back to his past, and it ended with Robin taking him under his wing and growing close to him not just because of his power, but because he admired his humanity, despite being a cyborg. The writing forKinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc’s latest episode works because it uses Warsman’s tragedy to emphasize his true nature as a compassionate person, and that sort of craft is exactly whyKinnikuman’s story is so iconic.

Kinnikuman’s New Episode Is Its Best-Looking Episode In Ages
Why Kinnikuman’s New Episode Looks So Good
What truly helpedKinnikuman’s latest story shine, of course, were the visuals accompanying it all. Not only did the direction always lend itself wonderfully to the emotional moments of Warsman’s backstory, but whether it was in the past or in the present fight between Warsman and Polarman, the art and animation always had an incredible amount of fluidity and overall craft whenever a fight scene was at play.Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arcseason 2, episode #10 was probably the anime’s best episode from a visual standpoint, and the benefits of that are plainly obvious.
All of that can be attributed to the talent of series director Akira Satou. While the series hasn’t always looked great, Satou has shown tremendous growth with every episode, and now,the stellar art and animation ofKinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc’s latest episode perfectly showcase how much Akira Satou has grown to work with the source material. An episode like this shows why Satou was the perfect director forKinnikuman, and hopefully, the show will only get better from here on out.
