Season 2, episode #2 ofOshi no Kowill be releasedon HIDIVE on Wednesday, July 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time(EDT), 10:00 a.m. Central Time (CDT), and 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time (PDT). For fans ofOshi no Koin the UK, the episode will be released at 4:00 p.m. British Summer Time (BST). The release date for the dubbed version of the episode is yet to be revealed, but will likely premiere on HIDIVE at a later date.
Season 2 ofOshi no Kois currently listed for 13 episodes, which means it will likely adapt until chapter #80 of the manga. Each episode of the anime is currently adapting around 4 chapters of the manga, which means the second half of season 2 will likely cover the Private arc as well, where themystery surrounding Aqua and Ruby’s reincarnationas well as Ai’s murder will deepen even further.

What Happened In Oshi no Ko Season 2 Episode #1?
Season 2, Episode #1 ofOshi no Kobegins with an introduction toTokyo Blade, the hit action fantasy manga within the world ofOshi no Kowhich is being adapted into a stage play thatAqua, Kana, and Akanewill be taking part in. Aqua takes on the role of Touki while Akane takes on the challenging role of Sayahime, both of whom are the antagonists of the play.
Kana, on the other hand, is given the role of the peppy, energetic Tsurugi, the supporting character to the protagonist Blade, who is played by Taiki Himekawa, a talented stage actor. Despite his disheveled appearance, Taiki takes everyone by surprise at rehearsals with his enigmatic acting and stage presence. Himekawa is seen immersing himself into his character and his passion literally and metaphorically hits everyone watching him in the face, inspiring them to also do their best.

Meanwhile, Akane expresses her concerns about Sayahime’s character being changed and oversimplified from the manga and struggles to get into the character or feel a proper connection with the role. Akane aspires to compete with Kana on stage, while Aqua, who although present at rehearsals, is occupied with his goal of getting closer to Touhiro Kindaichi, a founding member of Lala Lai, in the hopes of finding out more about Ai from him.

Season 2 episode #2 ofOshi no Kowill likely delve into the character of the successful mangaka behindTokyo Blade, Abiko Samejima. Despite her seemingly meek personality, episode #1 saw Abiko express her dislike for the script, wishing to change the entire thing and the upcoming episode will include plenty of drama asTokyo Blade’s script gets reworked and rewritten. Abiko is also expected to butt heads with the scriptwriter Goa.
