Warning! This post contains SPOILERS for Star Wars: Inquisitors #2
Summary
A newStar Warstheory suggests that the galaxy’s epic new Order 66 survivor may be in danger of becoming an Imperial Inquisitor. Marvel’s new and canonicalInquisitorsseries had recently debuted theJedi Knight Tensu Run, a priority target whom the Empire wanted to eliminate at all costs. Acknowledging the potential danger Tensu presented, Darth Vader tasked his Inquisitors with eliminating Run over any other lead they might have had. However, Run’s recent actions may lead him down a much darker path in the galaxy far, far away.
As seen inStar Wars: Inquisitors #2by Rodney Barnes and Ramon Rosanas,Tensu Run has made it his mission to track down the Imperial Inquisitors himselfin the wake of the Grand Inquisitor’s murder of his master. Tired of running, Tensu is taking the fight to the Empire’s Jedi hunters, beginning with the Fifth Brother:

That being said, Tensu Run has also been demonstrating some darker actions that are rather uncharacteristic of a typical Jedi Knight, suggesting that this newInquisitorsseries may end with Run becoming an Inquisitor himself. After all, the majority of Vader’s Jedi hunters were once Jedi themselves who chose to embrace the dark side.
Star Wars Movies In Order: How To Watch Release Order, Chronologically & With The TV Shows
What’s the best way to watch Star Wars? Here’s everything you need to know to watch in release or timeline order, and how to include the TV shows.
Tensu Run’s Followers Are Concerned About His Future
Will He Be Consumed By Revenge?
The core reason why the Empire sees Tensu Run as so dangerous is his ability to inspire. Case in point, he’s already built up a small collection of followers and fellow Force-sensitives in a bid to rebuild the Jedi Order, defying the galaxy’s Imperial oppression which began by wiping all the Jedi out with Order 66 and the tragic Jedi purge. Representing hope itself,Tensu Run quickly became the Inquisitorius' most wantedon the orders of Darth Vader himself.
That said, this new issue does see Run’s allies and friends concerned by his decision to leave them and take on the Inquisitors directly. After all, the Jedi’s core directive during the Republic era was only to fight only for the defense and protection of others, never for attack. While Tensu would argue that he’s going after the Inquisitors to protect his people, it’s also noted that the true motivation may be revenge, seeing as how they just murdered his master. As such, Tensu’s new campaign certainly does feel like a slippery slope, one that could end in tragic darkness and corruption.

Tensu Run Has Already Begun To Embrace The Dark Side
Killing Several Pirates Who Got In His Way
Tensu Run already compromised himself before he even got to the Fifth Brother (his first victory against the Inquisitors). Surrounded by a group of raiders,Tensu killed each pirate one by one, including one who was surrendering. However, Tensu killed him anyway to prevent any tales about him taking lives, as that would corrupt his legend as a symbol of hope. To that end, this is an incredibly dark sign, one that points to the possibility that this newStar Warsseries will end with Run fully embracing the dark side and perhaps even joining the Inquisitorius itself.
Star Wars: Inquisitors #2is on sale now from Marvel Comics.
