Tyler “Flip” Priddy first appeared onStreet Outlawsin the pilot episode of the showand was a central member of season 1’s main cast. Flip was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the home ofStreet Outlaws(viaThe Sun). He and his longtime friends, Justin “Big Chief” Shearer and Chris “Kamikaze” Day, were all cast in the first season of the show together, and Flip was well known for his 1980 Chevy El Camino, a distinctive car in a show with many memorable vehicles.
After Flip passed away, his car was passed down to Chris “Kamikaze” and is still featured on the show.

Flip’s family and friends have never revealed the circumstances surrounding his death. The internet has long speculated about what the cause of his death was and originally many assumed it was racing-related, but that idea was quickly dispelled.
Flip left behind a wife, Amber, and four sons. His family and friends have, politely, made an effort to keep the events of Flip’s death private.Flip’s loved ones would prefer that others be respectful of their husband, father, and friend, and have not publicly commented on his passingon social media. However, theStreet OutlawsFacebook page posted a tribute to Flip.
