Vought Rising Is The Perfect Spinoff After The Boys Season 5
Stormfront & Soldier Boy Could Be An Explosive Combination
The Boys' season 4 finale sets up some major events to come in season 5, and a major confrontation is brewing between a number of different parties, notably Butcher and Homelander. From the way things are shaping up in season 5, a prequel focusing on the rise of Vought is a great path forward for the show. The present timeline ofThe Boysis still set to be further explored, however, inGen Vseason 2andThe Boys: Mexico.
Both Stormfront and Soldier Boy are two of the most memorable supporting charactersinThe Boys' cast, making them well-suited to a spinoff. The mothership show has already teased what both of these characters got up to in past decades, and Stormfront, especially, has the makings of a Homelander-level villain. Adding Soldier Boy into the mix will surely result in some of the franchise’s signature shocking and gory moments. What remains unclear about the show, however, is whether there will be a character like Hughie (Jack Quaid) to anchor the Supe action.

1 The Boys Live-Action Change Secretly Set Up Many More Spinoffs After Gen V
The Boys has made changes to its source material, but there’s one small alteration that means Gen V could be the first of many spinoff shows.
Another reason whyVought Risingis such a compelling show is simply due to its setting. So far,The Boysuniverse has mostly taken place in the present, with only a few notable sequences set in the past. The 1950s, in many ways, is sure to be an interesting change of pace for the franchisevisually and in terms of general presentation. It’s not clear when audiences can expectVought Risingto premiere, butThe Boysuniverse is evidently not done expanding yet.
