Walmart’s in-house tech brand onn. has been providing affordable electronics and accessories for years now. Of all its offerings, onn. ’s line of streaming devices is particularly impressive. Here’s everything you should know about Walmart’s onn. streaming boxes.
onn. Google TV Full HD Streaming Device
Onn. ’s most affordable option is the onn. Google TV Full HD Streaming Device. The stick offers you full 1080p HD streaming quality for under $15. That’s a price you’re not likely to find any lower with a rival brand such asAmazon Fire, Roku, or Apple TV.
When plugged into your TV’s HDMI port, the onn. Google TV Full HD Streaming Device will display an easy-to-use smart TV interface on your screen. It allows you to watch Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and thousands of other streaming apps from the convenience of your TV. The Full HD Streaming Device also has a voice remote for easier browsing.

onn. Google TV 4K Streaming Box
If the Full HD Streaming Device is onn. ’s alternative to Chromecast or Firestick, then the onn. Google TV 4K Streaming Box is its direct Roku or Apple TV competitor. Priced under $20, the Streaming Box ups the quality of the Streaming Device from 1080p to 2160p for only $5 more. You’d be hard-pressed to find a better deal on streaming tech anywhere else.
Unlike the Streaming Device’s stick design, the onn. Google TV 4K Streaming Box more closely resembles the square design of Roku and Apple’s most popular offerings. It also supports 4K UHD streaming, Dolby Audio, and Google Assistant compatibility. With all this included for such a low cost, it’s no wonder why it’s a bestseller.

onn. Google TV 4K Pro Streaming Device
The latest (and, in my opinion, greatest) in Walmart’s line of streaming boxes is the onn. Google TV 4K Pro Streaming Device. Officially launching in late May 2024, the new and improved device launched in small batches prior to its release date, which got the internet buzzing. It’s more expensive than its sister products, priced just under $50, but it’s worth every penny.
The 4K Pro Streaming Device includes 4K UHD streaming capabilities, Dolby Vision HDR with Dolby Atmos audio, an improved remote with customizable buttons, and built-in support for Google Assistant. It also supports Wi-Fi 6 and Ethernet connectivity, two firsts for the onn. streaming brand. Availability is sparse because demand is high, but that’ll surely improve with time.

Walmart’s onn. streaming devices are a very attractive alternative to popular competitors likeChromecast or Roku. With prices ranging from less than $15 to less than $50, users can enjoy full 1080p HD or 2160p UHD streaming quality with a voice remote included. You likely won’t get that nice of a price anywhere else.
That said, the one potential drawback of onn. streaming devices is their lack of brand recognition compared to industry giants like Roku and Apple TV. Despite their impressive features and competitive prices, some may not want to opt for a lesser-known brand. Nevertheless, these onn. devices are an unbeatable option for budget-friendly streaming.
Are onn. Streaming Boxes Worth It?
No matter which way you look at it, Walmart’s onn. streaming boxes are all very much worth the price. From the Full HD Streaming Device’s $15 price tag to the new 4K Pro’s remarkably cheap $50 cost, these onn. products pose a serious threat to the competition (if only the brand name was a bit more recognizable). You’ll likely struggle to find a better deal on streaming devices than what Walmart has to offer with onn.
