Now that we’ve had plenty of time with theSamsung Galaxy S23+, we’re confident that it’s one of thebest Android phonesof the year. If you set your sights on the Galaxy S23+ for its larger screen and increased battery life, then all there is left to do is explore the colorways and pick the one that is going to reflect your own personal style.
This year, Samsung offers a number of color options, each with its own distinct feel.

Samsung Galaxy S23+
The Galaxy S23+ is for those who want a larger screen and improved battery life over the standard model. With a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, a 6.8-inch AMOLED display, and 4700mAh of battery life, this device can take anything you throw at it. Samsung gives you eight color options this year, so you are sure to find a color that you love.
Phantom Black Samsung Galaxy S23+
Those who don’t want to make a statement with a flash of color can opt for the Galaxy S23+ in Phantom Black. It’s a no-nonsense color that says business and exudes professionalism. It’s a premium-looking hue for a premium handset, and it’s a Galaxy S series staple.
Black blends into everything and is a complement to just about any other color. This frees you up to choose almost any case or accessory you wish without worrying about clashing colors. The Phantom Black color option blends smoothly with Samsung’s other accessories, including theGalaxy Watch 6, which comes in Graphite. Despite the name difference, they mesh perfectly.

Green Samsung Galaxy S23+
Samsung likes to experiment with color to varied degrees, and its green colorway is likely to be contentious. It’s not as bold as last year’s version, with a more muted color palette. Samsung chose to include gray with green to give it a distinct look. It’s a stunning color in a vacuum, but matching-colored accessories may be more difficult to acquire in this green.
It will not go with everything, like some of the other possibilities may. Even Samsung’s own Galaxy Watch 6 lacks a similar color to this. Black or silver are your best bets here; however, theGalaxy Buds 2come in a similar color.

Cream Samsung Galaxy S23+
The Galaxy S23+ in Cream doesn’t have the same timeless feel as a classic white. It will undoubtedly make your case selection stand out, especially if your case includes color. The cream hue directs your attention to the look of the case rather than the phone’s color, allowing you to show off your personal style by letting your case shine.
Ahigh-quality casemay be your best bet, as lesser-quality options can become easily soiled with time. Any dirt or grease on your fingers will be transferred to the back, disrupting the clean, creamy color tone. You don’t want your attention focused on that soiled addition. Other accessories may be more difficult to match, especially if they don’t come in a similar color.

Lavender Samsung Galaxy S23+
Samsung may have overshot the lavender color and created more of a pink with a hint of purple. In any case, it looks interesting, unlike last year’s pale pink. Regardless of the color, I appreciate that it isn’t too bright or overpowering. The Galaxy lineup has always been about quality, but vibrant colors can occasionally detract from that.
You might have trouble locating matching accessories for this, especially from Samsung’s own range. Even within Samsung’s accessory portfolio, the Lavender color differs from the Rose Gold on the Galaxy Watch 5. It has a considerably lighter tint compared to the darker purple used in the Buds 2. Cases should look nice on this phone; however, extra accessories may be more difficult to match.

Graphite Samsung Galaxy S23+
Samsung’s Graphite color continues the year’s trend of choosing subdued colors. It’s a bold color with a wonderful balance and likely one of the nicest colors in the lineup this year. It gives the Galaxy S23+ the appearance of being manufactured from a solid metal sheet and gives me MacBook vibes. The Graphite used here will complement nearly any neutral-colored item. This is especially true if the accessory is black or silver, but it will also work with other hues.
Lime Samsung Galaxy S23+
When compared to the rest of the lineup, this year’s Lime hue feels uninspired. It’s as if Samsung intended to develop a lime color for this year’s Galaxy devices but ended up with yellow. There’s not much going on with the lime color, and it’s a little boring to me. Even the ring around the camera lenses blends in so completely that it appears to be missing.
Accessories will most likely be difficult to come by unless you can find something that closely matches its hue. If you disagree and like the yellow look, you can only acquire it via Samsung’s website.
Choose the color that reflects your style
Choosing a color is a personal decision, but it may not be as easy as it appears. If you simply use your phone and don’t have any other accessories or gadgets, you can choose whichever color you want. If you want to wear a watch, earphones, or other accessories, your Galaxy S23+ color selection gets more challenging.
The Phantom Black and Graphite hues go with almost anything and look the most premium of the latest color options. The Green is eye-catching, in my opinion, but you may dislike it or have difficulty matching it with other gadgets.
Most merchants will carry phantom black, green, cream, and lavender. However, the colors Red, Graphite, Lime, and Sky Blue will be available only on Samsung’s website.
No matter which color you choose, you are getting one of the most capable and powerful phones to date. Not only has Samsung outfitted the device with fantastic specs, but it also offers four major OS updates and five years of security patches. With that kind of longevity, make sure you will love your color selection for the years ahead.
