Bangboo are adorable little mechanical creatures that can help you out on the Hollow battlefields inZenless Zone Zero. Each one fulfills a unique support role, whether that’s inflicting elemental damage on your enemies or providing buffs to your Agents. Some are better than others, though, so taking a look at the current tier list will help you decide which ones to use.
They may look cute with their bunny ears and costumes, butBangboo can pack a punch. The first Bangboo you’ll meet is Eous, an assistant who acts as a vessel for protagonists Wise and Belle in the Hollow Deep Dive System. But venture far enough into the story mode and you’ll be able to unlock other valuable Bangboo who can fight alongside you inZenless Zone Zero.

What Is Zenless Zone Zero Agent Trust & How Does It Work?
Building Agent Trust in Zenless Zone Zero can be a bit confusing at first, but understanding what the system has to offer proves that it’s worthwhile.
Bangboo Tier List In Zenless Zone Zero
Which Bangboo Is Best?
Before you dive into this tier list, remember thatthere are no bad Bangboo, only bad team compositions. Every Bangboo you may unlock will have some kind of boost to give, but you’ll need to choose one that matches the team of Agents you’re using. For example, if you’re using a team of Ice-type specialists, you’ll want a Bangboo like Sharkboo which increases Ice Anomaly Buildup.
You can see theZenless Zone ZeroBangboo tier list below, with S-Tier being the best and C-Tier being the worst:

Amillion, Rocketboo, Plugboo, Resonaboo, Safety, and Sharkboo
Avocaboo, Butler, and Paperboo

Bangvolver, Cryboo, Electroboo, Exploreboo, Magnetiboo, Penguinboo, and Sumoboo
C-Tier
Bagboo, Boollseye, Booressure, and Luckyboo
There are only two rarities of Bangboo at the moment: S-Rank and A-Rank. As you might expect, an S-Rank Bangboo is generally going to be better than an A-Rank Bangboo, and the tier list above reflects that fact, with most of the S-Ranks at the top. Even still, an A-Rank Bangboo that synergizes well with your Agents will probably perform better than an S-Rank Bangboo that doesn’t.

Butler is a great choice that can work with pretty much any team compositioninZenless Zone Zero, because it focuses on generating Energy for your Agents rather than dishing out a specific type of damage. It does get a boost when paired with at least two Agents from the Victoria Housekeeping Faction, though, so consider doing that if possible.
Just like the game’s wide variety of Agents, it’s a good idea to try out as many Bangboo as possible inZenless Zone Zeroto see which one you enjoy using the most.

If you’d rather have a Bangboo that specializes in attacking enemies, focus on pulling Sharkboo for Ice-type damage, Resonaboo for Ether-type damage, Plugboo for Electric-type damage, and Rocketboo for Fire-type damage. Amillion and Safety are both excellent at dishing out Physical-type damage, but the former works best with Agents from the Cunning Hares Faction, and the latter should be paired with Agents from the Belobog Heavy Industries Faction.
How To Get More Bangboo In Zenless Zone Zero
It’s All About Luck
Just like unlocking new Agents and W-Engines, themain way to get more Bangboo is to use the Signal Search feature. This is whereZenless Zone Zero’s gacha mechaniccomes into play, meaning you never know what reward you’re going to get when spending your resources. This can make getting the Bangboo you want a time-consuming (and potentially expensive) process.
You can only start pulling Bangboo Banners in the Signal Search menu once you’ve unlocked Enzo’s Turbo shop, which happens a few hours intoZenless Zone Zero’s main story.
You’llneed Boopons to pull Bangboo Bannersvia the Bangboo Channel in the Signal Search menu. This in-game currency can be earned by completing Hollow Zero challenges, working your way through the New Eridu City Fund, orclaiming limited-time rewards. You can also purchase Boopons from the Signal Shop using Bangbucks, another in-game currency that can be earned when pulling Bangboo Banners.
One good thing about using the Signal Search feature to pull Bangboo Banners is that you can choose which S-Rank Bangboo you want to receive if you’re lucky enough to pull one. You can change this selection at any time and it won’t affect how likely you are to pull an S-Rank Bangboo. This should, in theory, make getting a specific Bangboo quite a bit easier than pulling a specific Agent.
What Are Bangboo In Zenless Zone Zero?
Your Friendly Neighborhood Bangboo
If you’ve playedZenless Zone Zeroalready, you’ll probably have seen Bangboo running around Hollows and the streets of New Eridu, but you may be wondering what these little robots actually are. As the lore goes, Bangboo were initially created to help evacuate residents whenever Hollow disasters occurred, but they’ve since become advanced enough to provide support in battle.
While the most important decision you can make when starting a mission inZZZis whichteam of Agentsyou’re going to use, the Bangboo you choose to bring along can also provide that little something extra you need to make it out of the Hollow unharmed. Trying them all out to see which one you like best is part of the fun inZenless Zone Zero.
