Zenless Zone Zerohas a variety of mechanics, but the puzzles introduced in Chapter 2’s"Experiencing Dadd-E"mission have some of the trickiest systems to solve. Although you don’t have to fight to find solutions, you might get stuck on these brain-teasers easily. Certain limitations within each of the six puzzles present in the mission will force you to think outside the box to progress forward.
Your partymust be Level 28 before you can start the"Experiencing Dadd-E"mission in Chapter 2. Once you’re at the right level, you can just jump into the Chapter without having to worry about how strong your characters are. Visits to theBardic Needle shop inZenless Zone Zerowon’t be necessary for the activities tied to puzzles you’ll be able to solve for Gear Coin rewards.

How To Complete “Experiencing Dadd-E” Puzzles
Draw Paths With Mirrored Movements
Starting one of the"Experiencing Dadd-E"puzzles will show two separate grids on two sets of collected monitors between you and an NPC. This character, named Dadd-E,mirrors whatever movements you makeon your monitor screens as you interact with a puzzle. Your goal is tocomplete Hollows exploration training, which requires you to draw a path from an initial monitor to several areas in the grid.
In every grid, youstart in the top left cornerand need todraw a path that hits all the monitors with gold screens on both you and Dadd-E’s side. Since you and Dadd-E’s set of monitors are not identical, you’ll have to backtrack paths over spaces to hit every screen needed.You only have 30 moves on each puzzle, limiting your options significantly as you try to complete both your path and Dadd-E’s mirrored one.

You first map out your path on the left side before Dadd-E reflects whichever path you took. Follow The Best Path For Better Rewards
There aresix puzzles totalin the"Experiencing Dadd-E"mission, with each ramping up the difficulty and complexity of the path you need to take. Thankfully, each puzzle has a clear path that is the best solution for both your monitors and the reflected path drawn out by Dadd-E. Again, it doesn’t matter which character inZenless Zone Zeroyou have do this task, as long as you follow the right steps.

Puzzle #1
Go two spaces right, then go down two monitors. From there, go down another two spaces then head right for two more monitors.
Puzzle #2
Go down two spaces, then hit the red button to make a new monitor appear. Head left one space, then down one monitor to the new screen. From here, return to the original starting spot and to two spaces to the right. Finally, go down to the bottom right corner and two spaces to the left to finish the puzzle.
Puzzle #3
Go down two spaces, then move two monitors to your right. Travel down two more spots, then back up two spaces before heading two spaces left to a nearby screen. From here, go back to the starting point, then go two spaces right and straight down to the bottom right corner. Finally, go two spaces left to the finishing point.
Puzzle #4
Head one space right, then go back to the start. Go down two spaces and two to the right and hit the red button here. Go right to only one space and head up to the top left corner of the puzzle. From there, go to the bottom right corner and continue left until you reach the puzzle’s end.
Puzzle #5
Go down two spaces and two monitors to the right and two to the left. Head back to the start and move two spaces right before going to the bottom right corner of the puzzle. From here, go back up two spaces and two more to the left. From this point, go back two spaces to the right, down, and left to reach the end.
Puzzle #6
Head two spaces right and two monitors down. Move only two spaces to the left and then backtrack two monitors to your right. From here, go down two spaces and two to the left to complete the last puzzle.
Completing all of these with the above steps will earn you a bunch of Gear Coins, but having an S-Rank on every puzzle will also unlock Observation Sites. Three different locations are given to you for managing to solve each puzzle from the"Experiencing Dadd-E"mission, giving you access to even more rewards withinZenless Zone Zero.
