Best Team For Billy Kid In Zenless Zone Zero
While it may be tempting to try out the fancy new characters you’ve pulled inZenless Zone Zero,Billy Kid’s best teammates are Nicole and Anby, who together make up the trio youstarted the game with. Because they all belong to the Cunning Hares faction, their Core Skill additional abilities will be activated, which in Billy Kid’s case boosts his Ultimate damage by 50% after using a chain attack.
Billy Kid’s long-distance attacks and high agility make him a great addition to almost any team, so if you’re not bothered about those Core Passives, don’t be afraid to switch things up.

If you manage to unlock her, you can also switch out Nicole or Anby for the Attack agentNekomata. As she’s also a member of the Cunning Hares faction, this team composition will still sync up when it comes to Core Skill additional abilities. Her fast playstyle and Attack specialty mean she’s quite similar to Billy Kid, so keep in mind that you’ll be sacrificing a Support or Stun specialty character for her to join your team.
How To Play Billy Kid In Zenless Zone Zero
Focus On Long-Distance Attacks And AoE Damage
While many agents inZenless Zone Zerolike to get up close and personal with hands-on fighting styles,Billy Kid uses his dual revolvers - which he refers to as"the girls"- to deal long-range damage. This is demonstrated nicely by his basic attack, Full Firepower, which actually pushes Billy away from his enemies when shooting, helping him keep away from harm.
A good strategy for Billy Kid is tosend him into battle first, weaken your opponents from afar, and then switch out to a close-range agentto deal some heavy damage. Billy Kid is also great if you find yourself overwhelmed by enemies, as his dash attack, Starlight Sanction, and his Ultimate, Starlight Sparkle, deal area of effect (AoE) damage to tackle groups of incoming Ethereals.

Billy Kid’sattacks deal less damage the further away he is from an enemy, but equipping the Starlight Engine Replica W-Engine will help offset some of that damage reduction.
It’s also important toconstantly make use of the dodge ability, especially as Billy Kid doesn’t have the best defense or HP stats. He’s a fast character and can dodge most enemy attacks if you get the timing down, so don’t be afraid to get up close to your enemies to dish out some extra damage when needed.
Billy Kid is one of the easiest characters to play in ZZZ, with a fairly straightforward moveset and playstyle that mostly boils down to shooting, shooting, and shooting some more. While this might get boring for some people, especially more experienced gamers, his long-distance approach to combat makes him a great asset to any team inZenless Zone Zero.
